Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers have finally cast his vote in the ongoing presidential election.
Earlier in the day, Wike had angrily left his Polling Unit 8, Ward nine, Rumueprikon, Obio-Akpor after he could not be validated by the Bio-modal Voter Accreditation System (BIVAS).
The Rivers State Governor had waited for 25 minutes before leaving his polling unit.
The Governor, accompanied by his wife, Suzzette, left the polling unit at about 11 am as the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) appealed to them to wait.
The Governor, who left the unit, expressed disappointment in the electoral umpire.
But Wike has returned and voted after he was validated by BVAS.
