Atiku Pulls Mammoth Crowd In Niger State

The campaign train of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) arrived Minna, the Niger State capital today, January 21 with teeming supporters filling to capacity the township stadium of the state.

The rally turned carnival with dozens of camels coloured in PDP flags, musical performances and other displays.

On the entourage of Atiku is the vice-presidential candidate of the party, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Senate Minority leader, Philip Aduda, House of Representatives Minority Leader, Ndudi Elumelu, former Niger State Governor, Babangida Aliyu and many other political bigwigs.

Atiku assured the people of Niger of his plan to restore security and improve the economy which he claimed the All Progressives Congress has destroyed.

He urged the people of Niger State to troop out with their PVCs and vote the PDP.

In his remark, Muazu urged the people of Niger State to vote the PDP to compensate for their mistake of bringing in the All Progressives Congress which he claimed brought banditry, hunger and disunity.

He said the PDP candidate, Liman Isa Kantigi, is prepared for the job, and didn’t need any training in running the state if elected.
